Eevee might not have Pikachu’s star power, but let’s be honest, it’s just as adored. This little fox-rabbit cutie is the poster child for evolution, and fans can’t get enough!

From water to fairy, its evolutionary forms dubbed “Eeveelutions” cover a wide range of types and lore-aesthetics, but let’s face it, not all Eeveelutions were created equal.

So today, we’re ranking them all. From the most burning flops to the most electrifying top beast, here's the official Eeveelution tier list.

What’s the Ranking of the Eeveelutions?

Good question. The rankings aren’t just based on who looks the coolest or cutest. We’re talking stats, move pools, and real gameplay utility. For example, Flareon may look like a burning supernova, but it hits itself harder than its opponents with Flare Blitz. Meanwhile, Jolteon zaps past the competitive scene with blistering speed and coverage. Curious about who rises above the cold breath of Glaceon or the defenses of Umbreon? Read on!

#8: Flareon

The fire that never quite caught on. Stats-wise, Flareon has a good Attack and a decent Special Attack. But the problem is that its best Fire-type move is Flare Blitz, which recoils its own HP. The next best thing? Fire Fang, a move that hurts almost no one.

It's bad Speed and type attributes doom Flareon to the bottom of the list. And before the Physical-Special split in Gen IV, Fire-type attacks were all Special, meaning Flareon’s Attack stat was basically useless.

#7: Glaceon

The Ice-type Eeveelution from Gen IV may look exquisite, but in combat, it’s walking on thin ice. Glaceon has one real redeeming quality, which is its Special Attack stat, but everything else falls apart.

Ice typing is infamously poor defensively, resisting only itself while being weak to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. Also, Glaceon’s snow-based abilities rely on Hail or Snow to activate, which will require team-wide synergy or weather setup. Without that, it’s just a freezing burden.

#6: Leafeon

Leafeon has solid Attack and great Defense with a decent Speed stat to boot. Immunity to Leech Seed setups and powder moves is a bonus, and it’s one of the easiest Eeveelutions to obtain early on, thanks to early access to Leaf Stones or Mossy Rocks. But Grass-type Pokemon just don’t have it easy.

They’re weak to a lot of types with Fire, Flying, Bug, Ice, and Poison. Leafeon can hold its own in specific matchups, but it is mostly vulnerable.

#5: Umbreon

With a cool design and an atmosphere of mystery, Umbreon is beloved by fans and competitive players alike. Its bulk is phenomenal, especially for a Dark-type Pokemon. It was a stall tool in earlier games with moves like Toxic, Wish, and Protect.

But over time, Umbreon lost access to some of its core stalling techniques, and its offensive options have always been off the table. Still, it's a reliable Eeveelution wall and a favorite among those who like to play the endurance game.

#4: Sylveon

This pastel powerhouse, Fairy-type mascot took the Pokemon world by storm with its adorable ribbons and surprising combat prowess. With high Special Defense and HP, Sylveon is bulky enough to tank hits.

Its ability Pixelate turns Normal-type moves into Fairy-type, giving a massive power boost to moves like Hyper Voice. It’s strong against Dragons, which were dominant until Fairy-types arrived.

The only thing holding it back is its 60 Speed, but it makes up for it with pure pink destruction.

#3: Vaporeon

One of the original trio, Vaporeon is the definition of aquatic excellence. It has one of the highest HP stats among the Eeveelutions and a solid Special Attack stat, which is perfect for its Water-type moves. It also hits well with devastating Ice-type moves like Scald and Ice Beam.

That Ice coverage is good against Grass-types that would otherwise give it a hard time. Sure, it’s not fast, but its bulk lets it take hits and support its team.

#2: Espeon

Espeon doesn’t need defenses when it hits like a psy-truck and moves like a ghost. With a staggering 130 Special Attack and 110 Speed, this Psychic Eeveelution is a glass cannon.

Add Calm Mind and suddenly it strengthens its already terrifying offense. Give it Reflect and Light Screen, and now it’s a team support sorceress too.

Its Magic Bounce and Synchronize abilities punish enemies for trying to weaken or disable it.

#1: Jolteon

What happens when you give Espeon’s speed to a thunderbeast and let it keep a respectable Special Attack? You get Jolteon. Jolteon’s 130 Speed makes it one of the fastest Electric-types in the game, and its 110 Special Attack ensures those hits hurt.

With Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Signal Beam, and Ice Hidden Power, it has incredible type coverage while hitting Ground-types with ease. It’s no shock Jolteon has remained a staple in competitive formats for years.

No other Pokemon can wear so many elemental hats with such flair. There's an Eeveelution for every trainer. But in the world of stats and strategy, some shine brighter than others.

So next time you're choosing which stone your Eevee absorbs, maybe skip the Flare Blitz. Just a tip.
