Not Even Arslan Ash Can Escape The Wrath Of Harada

Tekken 8 producer Katsuhiro Harada really said "don't ask me for sh*t" to legendary multi-Evo champion Arslan Ash after blocking him from X (formerly known as Twitter).

Saying the relationship between developer and community is at an all-time low would be an understatement. After fans petitioned Tekken 8 changes that addressed some of the core issues from season 1, Bandai Namco doubled down on oppressive system mechanics making season 2 a complete nightmare to play for the entire community.

While they are slowly trying to fix some issues, including a game-breaking bug involving the latest DLC, Anna, fans are simply not happy with the overall direction the game has taken, voicing their concerns on social media.

Some have given honest feedback, while a vocal minority have resorted to personal insults and making unnecessary noise that ultimately hinders the conversation developer and community might have to help fix the game.

As a result, it looks like Harada has gone on a massive blocking spree, even hitting Arslan Ash himself, who is just as puzzled as am I as to why he is on the receiving end of an infamous Harada Twitter block.

A few are speculating that Harada might have used an auto-blocking tool and Arslan simply got caught in the crossfire. Some do believe it was delivered, as the developers of Tekken 8 have faced criticism for their inability to accept valid feedback in the past.

Luckily, all of the above was mere speculation, as Arslan would confirm hours after his initial post that it was all a complete misunderstanding and that Harada "acidentally" blocked the Evo champion.

Regardless of the situation, Harada blocking such an important figure within the Tekken community was not a good look, even if it was accidental. With the community in such a bad state, to the point there are even mods that remove the Heat system from Tekken 8, developers as seasoned as him shouldn't be making these rookie mistakes
