HoYoverse is bringing Zenless Zone Zero to Xbox. The action gacha game that's all about stylish combos and crushing your expectations of pulling S-tier characters is set to release this June alongside version 2.0 of the game.

1.0 was released in July of last year after months of players trying the game in what was essentially an early access period. HoYoverse has promised that this port of ZZZ will take advantage of the console's most intuitive features. On top of being able to run at a steady 60fps in 4k resolution, the game will have DirectX RayTracing and HDR support.

Furthermore, it will be compatible with Quick Resume. One of the best quality-of-life features that Xbox users have been enjoying for years. It lets you seamlessly swap from one game to another without needing to reload the entire game.

For Game Pass Ultimate users, the ability to play it via Xbox Cloud services will also be enabled. Finally, perhaps the feature everyone is most interested in: yes, Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox will have cross-progression activated.

Anby was a spoiler all along

Sadly, even if the timing seems a little too perfect, there is no news of ZZZ making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 console. It does seem like a matter of time before we start seeing HoYoverse games on the hybrid console.

It'd be weird for them not to port them, but for ZZZ to get a chance, the likes of Genshin Impact would certainly take priority. Still, ZZZ does lend itself better for a on-the-go experience, as levels are more compact, focusing on active gameplay rather than exploring an open-world.

In any case, HoYoverse games on Switch 2 are only wishful thinking at present time. What's real is that Zenless Zone Zero coming to Xbox consoles this June with the release of version 2.0. The game is already available on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices for you to enjoy.
