Fans will get their first glimpse of Mafia: The Old Country gameplay in the coming weeks after the title's official social media page confirmed details for the reveal and a follow-up developer panel.
In a post on X, it was stated that the gameplay trailer will be dropping on May 8 at 8am PDT / 11am ET / 4pm BST, while the developer panel is planned to follow a few hours after at 11am PDT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST during PAX East.
Both the gameplay trailer and developer panel will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch at the times mentioned above, giving hyped gamers plenty of new content to check out.
Although this is the first we've heard of the incoming gameplay trailer, the developer panel was previously mentioned in a blog post on Steam, which explained that devs will talk about the past, present, and future of the Mafia franchise, including new insights into the development of The Old Country.
The Steam post also mistakenly shared a potential August 8, 2025, release date for Mafia: The Old Country. Hopefully we'll get some clarification on this following the gameplay trailer or panel event.
Along with GTA VI, Mafia: The Old Country is one of the most highly anticipated games this year, so we can't wait to see what Hangar 13 has in store for us.
The Old Country will see players return to the Mafia's roots as they uncover the origins of organized crime. Set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily, a whole new experience awaits in what will undoubtedly be Hangar 13 and Take-Two's most ambitious entry in the series to date.
