InZOI is a unique life simulation game where death plays an important role in shaping the experience of your Zois. From natural causes like aging to sudden accidents like getting hit by a car, there are several ways your Zoi can meet an untimely end. To keep them safe and thriving, it’s important to recognize these potential risks and take proactive steps to prevent them.

This death mechanism adds a whole new level of realism to the game, as you have to protect and take care of your Zois. There are several causes of death in InZOI, and each one of them has its own set of triggers that you must avoid. This guide explores each of these death types in detail and how to avoid them.

Death is an inevitable part of human life, and InZOI is no exception. It is a permanent mechanic in the game, which means once a Zoi passes away, you can not revive it. Players do have the option to Go Back In Time which allows them to return to a previous save and protect their Zois from accidental death. Eventually, your Zois will die of old age, and there’s no way you can prevent it.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of all causes of death in InZOI:

Starvation

When you leave your Zois without food for too long, they will eventually die because of starvation. So it's essential to monitor and manage hunger levels regularly and maintain a food stock at all times. To prevent your Zois from starvation, make sure they eat balanced meals and if necessary, set up reminders to feed them.

Pollution

Pollution is a major threat to your Zois' well-being in InZOI, just like in real life. Zois living in heavily polluted environments face a significantly higher risk of death from toxic exposure. This danger is especially prevalent in industrial zones or densely populated urban areas with high atmospheric pollution. To protect your Zoi, it’s best to move them to cleaner, greener neighborhoods with lower pollution levels and a healthier atmosphere.

Disease

Zois can fall ill in InZOI, and if left untreated, their condition can worsen and even lead to death. Illnesses often spread through infections and impact their physical health quickly. To keep your Zois safe, make hygiene a top priority, schedule regular medical check-ups, and encourage healthy lifestyle habits. At the first sign of symptoms, don’t wait—take your Zoi to the doctor or hospital right away to stop the illness from spreading.

Car Accident

Car accident deaths are the most unexpected death scenario in InZOI that can happen anywhere, anytime. Your Zois can either die from a car crash by themself or also from a hit and run by others who drive recklessly. To protect your Zois from accidents, adopt safe driving habits, always use crosswalks, and be attentive on the roads.

Lack of Sleep

Sleep is an important need in InZOI because a lack of it can be fatal. When your Zois do not take rest for extended periods, they can suffer from exhaustion which in extreme cases can lead to death. To avoid this, maintain a healthy sleep schedule and carry out all your work on time to give your Zois enough time to rest.

Lack of Recognition and Loneliness

Your Zois need social interaction and approval to live. When there’s a lack of social interaction in your Zois life, they start feeling lonely, which leads them into a deep depression and ultimately leads to death. To make sure this does not happen, build healthy social relationships with other Zois. You can increase interactions by inviting Zoi's friends occasionally or hosting events.

Slipping

Your Zois can also die from slipping on wet floors and hazardous environments. Slipping is more common on wet floors and surfaces that have spilled foods or drinks like bathrooms or kitchens. To protect your Zois from this accidental death, clean all spills in your house immediately and keep all the surfaces dry.

Electric Shock

While fixing broken electronic items, your Zois can get electrocuted. The risk increases when your Zois have no electronic repair skills. To keep them safe from this instant death, avoid all electronic repairs at all costs unless they are well-trained to carry out this job.

Old Age

As Zois age naturally, they will eventually reach the end of their lifespan. There’s no way you can escape death from old age. All you can do is make your Zoi’s final days enjoyable and meaningful as long as they are alive and make their journey worth living.

It is important to note that a child can not die in InZOI. Instead, they will be taken by a Child Protection Agency when their multiple needs levels are critically low. On the other hand, teenagers can die in InZOI, just like adults.
