Want to know how to unlock the new Overwatch 2 DokiWatch skins? just kicked off, and besides the new Stadium game mode, Blizzard is also putting the spotlight on some magical girl themed skins inspired by anime’s majo shojo genre.

DokiWatch comes with all-new cosmetics for Juno, Kiriko, Widowmaker, Brigitte, Freja, and D. Va (plus some others that weren’t highlighted in the reveal) and they’ve even come up with a backstory for these magical girls.

Overwatch 2 DokiWatch Skins Release Date

The DokiWatch event just started in Overwatch 2 and it will be available until May 19.

If you watch magical girl anime, chances are you’ll know all the kinds of tropes that DokiWatch is going for, from each member of the team representing some kind of emotion, to the characters being covered in cute-sy things like hearts and bows.

Interestingly enough, Juno is at the center of DokiWatch as the ‘Heart of Hope’ and we get to see a short comic of her joining the Heroes of Heart team narrated by voice actress Xanthe Huynh. Check it:

“As the wicked Hollow Hearts spread Woe across the world, the Heroes of Heart rally to confront the troublemakers. But with two of their teammates gone, the heroes find themselves terribly outmatched. Can they reclaim the friends they’ve lost? Or should they seek a new champion?”
