With just under 100 heroes, HoK is absolutely stacked with unique characters. But which one is the right one for you? Well, our tier list ranking all the best characters will give you a good starting point in one of the best MOBA games on mobile.

The best characters in Honor of King are:

What you’ll notice from this HoK tier list is that many of the best characters will take you quite some time to unlock. The starting characters Angela, Lian Po, and Hou Yi are by no means terrible and can have their moments, but they’re far from the strongest characters in the game.

Out of these starting heroes, Hou Yi is undoubtedly the strongest. Angela can deal heavy burst damage, but she has low survival and can be easily countered.

Another detail you might notice is that most of the 'best characters' are Assassins or Marksmen, as these are the strongest damage dealers. DPS characters are typically the playmakers and can brute force a win if played well. However, the other roles, especially Support, Fighter, and Tank are required for a strong team. While it might be tempting to stack your team with all the best Assassins, you'll be missing valuable utility.
