The Moon Blossom seed is one of the rarest and most coveted items in Grow a Garden, introduced as part of the Lunar Glow Event that began in May 2025.

Since it’s so rare, securing a Moon Blossom seed takes knowing how the event works and using clever strategies to increase your chances.

Where Can You Find Moon Blossom Seeds?

You can mainly get Moon Blossom seeds through Night Seed Packs, unique bundles available only while the Lunar Glow Event is active.

The packs contain multiple seed types, but the Moon Blossom is the rarest, found in approximately 2.5% of all packs.

While players can purchase these packs directly using Robux in bundles (such as 1 pack for 199 Robux, 3 packs for 575 Robux, or 10 packs for 1699 Robux), many find that buying them outright can be a costly gamble.

The low probability combined with the high price means it’s easy to spend a significant amount without receiving any Moon Blossom seeds.

How Can You Earn Night Seed Packs Without Spending Robux?

Fortunately, the game offers a free alternative through the event’s Reward Track.

Players can find Moonlit Fruit in the Lunar Glow Event, but only while Nightfall is active, which happens every hour for about 10 minutes.

You can collect Moonlit Fruit either by harvesting crops during this time or by using the Moonlight Staff, an event reward that instantly changes mature plants into Moonlit Fruit during Nightfall, speeding up your progress.

Giving these fruits to the Wise Old Owl earns Lunar Points, which add up to unlock rewards along the event track. You can get as many as 12 free Night Seed Packs by hitting different milestones.

How Do You Maximize Lunar Points to Get More Seed Packs?

To maximize Lunar Points earned per Nightfall, it’s best to grow high-value crops before Nightfall begins.

The points you earn per crop depend on its rarity and value: common crops grant one point, uncommon two, rare three, legendary four, mythical five, and divine six points each.

Using sprinklers, lightning rods, and the Moonlight Staff increases growth and fruit production during the event, helping you collect more Moonlit Fruit and Lunar Points faster. Statistically, each Night Seed Pack has a 2.5% chance to drop a Moon Blossom seed.

Since one event track completion gives 12 packs, doing it multiple times increases your odds by the same factor. For example, after completing the track five times (earning 60 packs), your odds of obtaining at least one Moon Blossom seed rise to roughly 77%.

You need about 187 packs to be nearly sure, which is the equivalent of completing the track around 16 times. These odds aren’t set in stone, but they offer a good idea of how much effort is needed.

Is There a Faster or Alternative Method to Get Moon Blossom Seeds?

Besides the official methods, a little-known yet powerful glitch uses the Red Fox pet.

This pet has a unique ability to visit other players’ gardens and “steal” seeds from their crops, placing those seeds into your inventory rather than removing them from the original garden.

To acquire a Red Fox, you either hatch it from the Mythical Egg (which has about a 7% chance to appear in the egg shop, costing millions of in-game currency) or trade with other players. The Red Fox itself has a low hatch rate from the egg (about 1.6% to 2%), so patience or trading might be necessary.

Once you own a Red Fox, the best way to collect seeds is by visiting servers with gardens made up entirely of Moon Blossom plants. This ensures that the Red Fox “steals” the desired Moon Blossom seeds.

Equipping up to eight Red Fox pets (by unlocking additional pet slots through pet leveling and aging mechanics) allows you to collect multiple seeds simultaneously while you’re AFK.

The chance to “steal” the seed isn’t guaranteed every time, but if you keep at it, this method can quickly earn you dozens or even hundreds of Moon Blossom seeds—much faster than farming the event over and over or buying packs.
