Genshin Impact 5.8: Banner Schedule, Events & Rewards Detailed

Version 5.8 is the last Natlan cycle update in Genshin Impact, and it'll give the region a colorful send-off. It is not all gloom, as things will turn a little somber with the prelude act for the upcoming Nod-Krai region.

Of course, it won't miss out on the usuals like new and returning banners, events, and much more. Keep reading to know the full schedule for version 5.8.

Version 5.8 of Genshin Impact will bring a brand-new 5-star character, Ineffa. Among the reruns are Citlali, Chasca, and Mualani.

Here's what the full banner schedule will look like:

Phase 1

• Featured 5-star character: Ineffa and Citlali
• Featured 5-star weapon: Fractured Halo (Polerarm) and Starcaller's Watch (Catalyst)
• Date: July 30, 2025 to August 19, 2025.

Phase 2

• Featured 5-star character: Chasca and Mualani
• Featured 5-star weapon: Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage (Bow) and Surf's Up (Catalyst)
• Date: August 19, 2025 to September 9, 2025.

We do not have any official information on the 4-star characters. Though leaks suggest Fischl and Xingqiu will be featured.

All Genshin Impact Version 5.8 Events Details

For every X.8 update in Genshin Impact, we get a summer vacation-themed region with the main event built around it. This time, the region itself won't be time-limited, and you're free to explore after it ends.

The main event is titled Sunspray Surner Resort, and it has four mini-events. One where you'll paint everything like Spatoon, another where you'll use sniper, a 2D platforming mini-game, and a musical fight-off. Rewards for doing all that are 1,000 Primogems, a new Bennett skin, free Claymore, and other upgrade resources.

In total, version 5.8 will have these three events instead of the usual four:

• Sunspray Surner Resort: Main event themed around the new region with several mini-games and major rewards. It'll start right after the update on July 30 and will be available until August 18, 2025.
• Tracing Vanishing Trails: An event where Traveler follows Yelan on an undercover case to catch a serial Mora launderer. Rewards for the event are 420 Primogems and other upgrade materials. It'll run from August 14 to August 25.
• Mementos of Teyvat: Prelude of the Frozen Veil: Before Traveler sets on a new journey, they decide to recapture certain mementos from past regions. It is a photo shoot event where you'll take photos in different poses and environments. Rewards for the event are 420 Primogems and other upgrade materials. The runtime for the same will be August 21 to September 1, 2025.

As said, there will be no fourth Primogems providing event, which is now replaced by Stygian Onslaught. The endgame mode will refresh on August 6.

We'll also have a Ley Line Overflow with double Mora and Character EXP book rewards from Ley Line challenges, from September 1 to September 8.
