Once again, it looks like modders have created far better content for Starfield than Bethesda themselves, this time with the latest story expansion from Kinggath Creations, a standout modder in Starfield’s Creation Modding Community and the mind behind the McClarrence Outfitters: Legendary Customization mod.
Watchtower: Orbital.Strike\Fleet.Command is the latest community offering from Starfield’s incredibly talented modding scene. The premise is simple: build a fleet, call down devastating orbital strikes, and join a new faction to take on opposing forces. If this isn’t the kind of pure sci-fi fantasy you've been craving in Starfield, what is?
This mod introduces a new mission structure where you’re hunted by a mysterious new faction called Watchtower. As the protagonist, your goal is to steal their technology and turn it against them. The result? Powerful new upgrades, including orbital strikes using the mod’s brand-new ship attachments, known as Skydrops.
Despite being a mod, the developers clarified that rewards are designed to work seamlessly with the base game, DLCs, and other community content. From exotic equipment to a brand-new hub set in a derelict space station, there's plenty here to keep you immersed for hours.
This is ideal for Starfield players who’ve been yearning for more action and explosions, things the base game often lacked. Fans of chaotic, high-stakes firefights reminiscent of the hit sci-fi TV show The Expanse will feel at home in these interplanetary battles.
To jump into Watchtower: Orbital.Strike\Fleet.Command, players need to be at least level 15 and ready to travel between systems. Once that’s done, agents of Watchtower will begin to target your character.
The mod’s install size is 2.06 GB on PC and 1.65 GB on Xbox, and over 23,000 players have already begun this new adventure.
