Bandai Namco has confirmed that we’re going to get another remastered Tales of game soon. With the series still highly-regarded by fans and projects like Tales of Graces F Remastered doing well, it’s easy to see why more are coming. There are plenty of games in the series that aren’t readily available, so fans will love this announcement.
On the official Tales of Series X account, it was announced that the next remastered project will be announced this summer. Unfortunately, no clues were given on what the remastered game is going to be, but it won’t be long before the announcement is made. Considering the series’ consistent quality, fans will be pleased with the chosen title.
We’ve already seen GameCube classic Tales of Symphonia and Xbox 360 gem Tales of Vesperia get remasters. Fans were also pleasantly surprised when Graces was released earlier this year, as that particular game was stuck on PS3 and Wii. Now that more remasters are on the table, we’re curious as to which entry Bandai Namco will choose.
Many fans are hoping that Tales of Xillia 1 and 2 get a remastered bundle, as they were recently delisted on PS3. There are also plenty of games from the PS2 era that could get a re-release, like Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Legendia. Let’s not forget any of the games that are currently stuck in Japan outside of fan translations.
The series might not be as popular as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, but it's clear that fans want more of these games. Even with the popularity of turn-based RPGs, there’s still a place for this action-heavy series. Here’s hoping that this new Tales of remastered project pleases fans and welcomes newcomers as well.
