Now that the Gathering Hall—or Grand Hub—is finally here after Title Update 1, hunters have a special place to hang out with players from around the world. A mysterious Diva might even serenade them.
Starting in just a few hours, Monster Hunter Wilds kicks off its first Seasonal Event in celebration of the Spring season. The event runs from April 22 to May 6 (PDT).
The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance is the first of many Seasonal Events that hunters will encounter throughout Monster Hunter Wilds’ year-long live-service support. Players can experience the Grand Hub like never before, now fully adorned with springtime blooms.
Not only that, but Blossomdance features an overarching Japanese theme, meaning there are plenty of armor and customization options for your hunter, Palico, Seikret, and even Alma based on traditional aesthetics. First among them is the Sakuratide Armor Set, which embodies that signature East Asian flair. Even the Canteen is serving up classic Japanese cuisine like sushi and other seafood. Players who want to avoid FOMO should grab these Seasonal Rewards before the event ends.
The Blossomdance Event also serves as the gateway for Monster Hunter Wilds to introduce its toughest quests yet—Capcom’s cheeky answer to complaints that the game is too easy. Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, a more powerful and deadly version of the Apex of the Sands, will be available as a limited-time quest during the event. Players looking for a real challenge can face this beast to earn the new Rey Dau Armor, featuring enhanced Armor Skills. Arch-Tempered Rey Dau becomes available on April 29 and will stick around until May 13.
Hunters who missed previous weekly events will also have a chance to catch up, as Blossomdance reruns all prior Event Quests. That includes the ‘When Do Quematrice Sing?’ quest, which rewards players with the Amstrigian Hat cosmetic. There are also new and more challenging Event Quests with better rewards, like ‘Daughters of Carabosse,’ where players face two Lala Barina to earn the brand-new Blossom Armor. This is just the beginning for Monster Hunter Wilds. As the first Seasonal Event, it’s mainly focused on cosmetics and limited-time quests. But at the end of May, Wilds will receive its 1.5 Update, which brings a significant balance patch, tougher monsters, and an Endemic List tracker for players who love collecting little critters.
Then, sometime in Summer 2025, Title Update 2 will arrive, introducing the highly anticipated return of Lagiacrus, along with a brand-new Seasonal Event for summer.
