A major upgrade is on the way for Marvel Rivals, with costume customization launching on April 17, 2025.
With this update, players can customize beyond the usual skins for a unique experience. Players now have the ability to tweak their heroes' costumes, adjusting color schemes to reflect their own unique style in the game.
Players can now choose from a variety of updated color palettes for their costumes. For example, the Phantom Purple palette gives Psylocke’s Vengeance outfit a dark, mysterious vibe, while Winter’s Wrath offers a chilling makeover for the Winter Soldier’s vampire-inspired costume.
Magik's edgy punk look will shine with the Rosy Resilience color scheme, and Luna Snow’s 2099 outfit will get a striking Plasma Pulse transformation. These new palettes are available for immediate use after being bought in the in-game store.
Customization options are easily accessible via the "Costumes" tab, where players can seamlessly switch between color schemes. The update will not only offer paid color schemes but also provide opportunities for free customization.
Completing in-game challenges allows players to earn Chrono Tokens, which can be used to unlock skins for free. Players can now customize more easily, with the option to either pay upfront or unlock cosmetics through gameplay.
The new customization feature plays a major role in the upcoming patch, but it’s expected to develop further. Fans are hoping future updates add more costumes and color options for even more variety.
Previous updates had pricey premium skins, but now players can customize more affordably without spending a lot on individual skins. Marvel Rivals is moving forward with the April 17 update, giving players more ways to customize their heroes.
Whether you're out to turn heads in battle or just enhance your hero's look, this feature opens up a whole new range of possibilities for Marvel Rivals players.
