Marvel Cosmic Invasion revealed two new characters during the Summer Game Fest, one of whom is getting more attention. Everyone likes Rocket Raccoon from the MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy series, so seeing him here is good. However, everyone is talking about She-Hulk and her “buff mommy” design, looking like a beautiful powerhouse.

Fans of the comics and Disney+ series of the same name know She-Hulk as a powerful Avenger with a conventional, attractive design. Even though she’s a Hulk, Jennifer Walters is usually portrayed as a beautiful woman who happens to be tall and green. Cosmic Invasion is taking cues from the more recent comics by finally showing her as incredibly muscular, something many fans have been asking for.

Beyond her appearance, She-Hulk looks like she’s going to be a ton of fun to use in Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Seeing her smash enemies around like it's nothing looks satisfying, making us wish the game was out already.

Rocket’s various gadgets look fun to use as well, showing that this game does have some decent character variety. He might be small, but seeing this galactic guardian unleash weapons makes him a deadly threat for anyone to use.

It’s good to know that the devs are continuing to make characters feel unique in their gameplay style, like they originally did in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. With more characters to be revealed, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is shaping up to be a promising beat-em-up that has plenty of replayability.

This has been a great year for Marvel gamers. Cosmic Invasion looks like a solid beat-em-up, Tokon has the chance to overtake Dragon Ball FighterZ and the Capcom Vs series, and Rivals is still going strong. Let’s hope this also leads to Marvel’s Wolverine getting an official release date soon.
