Henry From Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in Fortnite Is a Crossover We Didn’t See Coming

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Fortnite has taken its reputation for surprising crossovers to a whole new level. According to a recent leak, characters from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are making their way to Epic's battle royale.

As per XboxEra's ShpeshalNick, Henry of Skalitz and Sir Hans Capon could soon be added to the list of characters like Goku, Ariana Grande, and Peter Griffin sporting victory crowns.

This leak dropped during an episode of the XboxEra Podcast and was reported by Insider Gaming. The bundle featured an eclectic mix of wild names, including Jack Black (not associated with a specific IP), characters from Death Stranding, Mortal Kombat, Hitman, Double Dragon, and pixel-art Marvel heroes.

If true, this long list would be another addition to Fortnite's ever-expanding network of IP mashups. The community was caught off guard by the idea of Henry, a raw, survival-driven character shaped by the brutal politics of the 15th century, suddenly moonwalking on the battlefield or building staircases into the clouds.

The focus of Kingdom Come has always been on authenticity. It was an RPG rooted in history, with realistic stamina, meters, and horse-riding mechanics, making it feel more like a sim than a shooter. Dropping that into the chaos of Fortnite has left players amused and baffled in equal measure.

As with many Fortnite leaks, the information is being taken with a grain of salt, especially since no formal announcements have been made. Even so, there's no denying the excitement around the possible inclusion of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 characters.

Timing-wise, the crossover leak lines up with other rumored Fortnite events. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is expected to drop in July 2025, and the mention of an in-game event suggests Fortnite could be preparing for a season heavy on partnerships. Death Stranding's initial tie to the Epic Games Store adds credibility to its place as well.

So, is this a bizarre marketing move or just a clever fake? Hard to say. But if Fortnite can turn Kratos into a cartoon, nothing's off the table.

Whether Henry rocks full chainmail or gets down with a tavern emote worm dance, this crossover idea proves Fortnite isn't just full of surprises—it's got guts.
