CD Projekt Red just dropped a major update for Cyberpunk 2077, the long-awaited Patch 2.3, which adds a slew of new content to the five-year-old game.
Here’s everything you need to know about Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077:
Autodrive & Delamain Taxi Service
Just like how Geralt uses his horse Roach in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 lets you travel around the map without needing to steer. Your car can now drive itself to quests, letting you sit back, enjoy the music, and soak in the atmosphere with a cinematic camera mode.
If you're looking for something quicker, Delamain is now available to hire, giving you a faster way to get around without relying on fast travel Data Points.
New Vehicles & Quests to Unlock
Patch 2.3 introduces three new cars and one motorcycle. To get your hands on them, you’ll need to complete a set of new quests designed specifically for unlocking these vehicles.
New Paint Jobs
New car paint jobs are also available, including sleek twin-tone designs. These give you more ways to customize your rides and show them off around Night City.
Expanded Photo Mode
Photo Mode now lets players change the time of day and the weather to create the perfect shot. You can even invite more NPCs like the Cassel twins to pose with you, giving you more freedom and creativity when capturing moments.
Improved Visuals
The update brings several visual improvements, including enhanced HDR settings, AMD FSR 4 support, AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, Intel XeSS 2.0 with Frame Gen, Intel HDR10+ Gaming support, and VRR for consoles. All of this makes Night City feel even more immersive and visually stunning.
Cyberpunk 2077 is Coming to Mac
Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally coming to Mac. It will be available via the Mac App Store, GOG, Epic Games Store, and other platforms where you already own it. The Mac version includes ray tracing, frame generation, and all the latest visual enhancements. It even supports the Magic Mouse and offers cross-progression if you want to pick up where you left off on another system.
Release Date
Patch 2.3 goes live on July 17 and will be available across all major platforms, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Unfortunately, a Nintendo Switch 2 version hasn’t been announced just yet.
And that's about it. Sadly, there's no news for a New Game+ or Mod Support, but at least this update adds a little bit of content to a massive open-world game like Cyberpunk 2077. The patch notes will be dropping tomorrow on CDPR's official website.
