CS:GO is Twitch's 2nd Most Viewed Game

Twitch.tv released viewership rankings for their most popular video game titles yesterday over on their brand blog. The figures track all viewership throughout May of 2015, as well as showing off whether the title had moved in rankings from the previous top games listing (presumably taken in April).

Interestingly, Counter Strike: Global Offensive has solified its position as the second most popular game in terms of minutes viewed on the gargantuan streaming platform. This places it ahead of titles such as DOTA 2, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and Minecraft, which ended up taking 3rd, 4th and 5th in the list respectively. League of Legends maintains its #1 position. This may come as a slight surprise to some due to the veritable level of popularity that DOTA 2 enjoys. The viewers of Valve's competitive first person shooter are a formidable force indeed.

You can view the full list of Twitch.tv's top 20 most viewed video games from May 2015 below, or via their blog post.
